Flight with Ultralights is a first-class opportunity for General Aviation lovers and Air Idea lovers to enjoy the joy of flying at low cost and security. FLYING LIBRARIANS, have added on their fleet the Ultralight aircraft SONERAI II STRETCH.

The maiden flight of the new Flying Librarians SONERAI II STRETCH took place on Saturday, December 3, 2016, from the State Airport of Araxos from an Ultralight instructor and test Pilot. SONERAI with registration number IA-468 is from September 2016 at Araxos Airport. It has spent 50 hours of flight before joining Flying Librarians. Prior to the admission test flight, extensive technical inspections were performed by qualified Airworthiness Engineers and test Pilots who are actively involved in Flying Librarians’ actions. There followed a second flight of 30 minutes with a double crew, consisting of a flight Engineer and a test Pilot. Both tests proved excellent. Additional test flights will take 10 hours before it will normally join the FLYING LIBRARIANS flying schedule.

IA-468 will be used for purposes of:

  • FIRE SURVEILLANCE
  • TRAINING
  • SURVEILLANCE OF NATURA AREAS
  • RECREATIONAL-SIGHTSEEING FLIGHTS

FLYING LIBRARIANS’ ECOLOT (SX-UCD) and SONERAI II (IA-468) ultra-light aircrafts, are available for Aviation Friends to conduct addiction flights.
